Jessica completed her BSc at the University of Guelph. While there she was exposed to some very interesting research, both through course work and through study participation that fueled her desire to continue her education at the University of Ottawa. In the fourth year of her undergraduate degree, Jessica had the opportunity to work on an independent study with Dr. Justine Tishinsky, that focused on the physiology of the kidney, before ultimately deciding that her interests were primarily in biomechanics. In September 2020, Jessica began her master's in the Spine and Movement Biomechanics Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Graham.
