Di completed her bachelor of Biomedical Engineering at Tianjin University in China in August 2020. Her experience in the Motor Rehabilitation Laboratory fueled her interest in kinesiology and inspired her to further explore research ideas in the field of biomechanics. She started as a master's student in the Spine and Movement Biomechanics Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Graham in September 2020
